Dave the motorhome is on a quayside surrounded by concrete pontoons which are no longer sea worthy near Porto Empedocle on the south west coast of Sicily. I've finally been brave and had a go at a video diary. No make-up, no hair straighteners and with mosquito bites on my noggin, this is me on the road!

Dave the motorhome is at another free Spanish aire in Carcaixent. The trees around us are heavy with oranges, giving Charlie the pooch plenty to play with.

Dave the motorhome nips to Moraira for a look around before finding a campsite in Oliva. It's fiesta day tomorrow, so we'll stay a couple of nights.
