From our campsite base in Bourg-Saint-Maurice Jay runs up to Les Arcs 1800 and back as part of his training for the Zermat Half Marathon the following week.

Zagan the motorhome's at Camping Huttopia in Bourg-Saint-Maurice. It's an ACSI site, so not expensive out of season, at €17 a night including electricity.

Running High, Up the Col de I’Iseran, French Alps
The Col de I'Iseran is the highest paved mountain pass in the Alps, topping out at 2,764 metres. Even though it was closed for snow, Jay still ran it.
