Spanner in the works!

So, after 17 years of working for ‘the man’, I’ve resigned from life in corporate UK and decided to go it alone as an IT consultant and project manager. I’m nervous and excited at the same time. The idea is to get contract work between Sept 2011 and June 2012, then head off in the van. The job market seems to be OKish, although I expect I’ll struggle to get work in driving distance of home, we’ll see how it goes. I’ve floated the idea with Ju of me living in the motorhome on a campsite somewhere during the week. She’s not too impressed; as she’d be alone in the week and we’re used to being together.
