Six months on and Ju’s hair is growing back
Six months ago I had my head shaved for charity.
Many. many kind people donated money and helped me to raise over £1300 for the Buddy Bag Foundation – an amazing cause. By having a cold head and looking a bit silly, over 50 children going into emergency care have been given a rucksack with some daily essentials in it to make such a difficult time a little easier.
Over the last six months like everyone else I’ve had good and bad hair days. Even when it’s one of the worst hair days and it has taken on a life of its own, sticking up in all directions, I know it was worth it.
Below are a few of my latest looks (good hair days only, on bad hair days I wear a hat) as well as the video of my head being shaved in case you haven’t seen it.
A huge thank you to everyone who was kind enough to support me, and a big thank you to Jay who has finally confessed that he is glad it is growing back.

You’ll soon be able to plait it!!
On our way back to the UK for a month and while parked in an aire, we have just met Carlos the Clown from Columbia!!! On his day off I would add and wanted a guided tour of the van. Don’t we meet amazing people whilst on the road?
The hair has gone but there is a great person left
