Not easy this…

As we visit people and say au revoir, we’re finding it an upsetting time. When we decided to take this trip, we didn’t really consider just how hard it was going to be saying bye to our much loved family and friends. We reason that we’re only going for a year, and that we could drive back home within a few days, or one of us could get a flight back very quickly in an emergency. I guess the reasons for not making a trip like this are many, but we’re resolute it is the right thing for us to do. We hope that once we’re on the road we’ll be able to use the Internet to stay in frequent contact with everyone. What can we say other than we love our family and friends and we’ll miss you all?
