Amateurs!

We had a shakedown van test for a couple of days in Derbyshire last week. The idea was to find anything not working, and to try and sort out where we could store the various items we’ll need for a year on the road. The only thing we found to be ‘not working’ was the water heater. At least I thought it was bust as it only seemed to work for a minute then the water went cold. However, as our man Dave, the caravan expert, pointed out today: the heater has to be on 20 mins to heat the water. Oops. It’s now working a treat! Great service from Dave though, a good check over the appliances for the princely sum of £10.
