We’ve been asked ‘What has been your favourite place?‘ so many times. Each time we struggle to answer the question, simply because we have so many favourite places!
We’ve chosen 200 of our favourites (it was a challenge to whittle them down to that!) and created this book to help inspire your own motorhome adventures, by showing you the fantastic types of places available to you.
From campsites and aires, to business stops and free camping, we’ve selected a range to suit every taste and budget. We’ve also made sure that they include the magnificent mountains, volcanoes, forests, beaches, lakes, rivers, towns and cities of Europe and North Africa, just waiting for you to park up in your home on wheels.
This book isn’t a straight-forward guide book of destinations, it is designed to whet your motorhoming appetite with our memories of each location including things like: what we got up to, who we met, why it’s in the book, as well as things to do nearby, and some practical information about the overnight stop.
The 200 – Inspiring Motorhome Destinations Across Europe and North Africa
The 200 is available from Amazon as a full-colour ebook or as a paperback with black and white images (to keep the price of the book reasonable). However, so paperback readers don’t feel left out, we’ve posted all the images in full colour in a gallery on this blog, or so you can have a peek at some of the places, before you decide to buy the book.

The release of their new book ‘THE 200′ has provided us a welcome escape from our Covid lockdown and a great book for European motorhome touring ideas.
‘THE 200’ is different from other camping and travel books as is written for motorhomers in mind. The book includes Aires, Sostas, Stellplatz and wild-camping locations, all of which are specific to motorhoming and often not included in other camping books.
Local information is provided with GPS coordinates for easy SatNav input, which is very useful for touring with a motorhome.
Note:- We have previously stayed at 4-5 places selected in ‘THE 200’ and can confirm that these locations were all very memorable and can understand why they were included in ‘THE 200’. We cannot wait to visit some of the other locations in this book once lockdown ends. Meanwhile we continue to browse this book to for future inspiration.

This book is for you if you are new to owning a motorhome, or are a seasoned motorhomer but looking for ideas for some new destinations. Maybe you have just finished reading our Motorhome Touring Handbook and are raring to go, full of practical information, but are in need of some inspiration of where to go.
