Merry Christmas Everyone

I don’t know about you, but once again, I can’t believe how quickly the year has gone. I’ll do a full round-up of 2018 before we step into 2019, and then in early 2019 an update on our finances for the past year. In the meantime, this post is here to say ‘have a very happy Christmas’!

Looking at sales of our latest book, there could well be a few of them sitting under trees waiting to be unwrapped on Christmas morning. Thank you to everyone who has bought a copy and for all the lovely feedback we have had about it. It took most of this year, but we’re quite proud to finally get all the stuff we’ve learned from our time in a motorhome up to date and into one place.

This year we’re at home for Christmas, so there will be numerous pub visits with friends. On the day itself, we’re going to visit both sets of parents before settling in front of the fire for a feast of our favourites – pigs in blankets, roast spuds and mince pies. The beauty of it just being the two of us, we don’t have to do traditional. In fact we may end up in the local curry house – it has been done a couple of times before. It’ll be tinged with a little sadness as it’s our first Christmas without Charlie. We used to love watching him sniff out his present and drag it around the place to unwrap it before tucking in – nearly all his presents were food related!

The chunnel is booked for early January, so between Christmas and New Year we’ll be getting Zagan ready for the off. He’s been a little neglected since we got back from Paris.

Once again, can we take this opportunity to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy touring New Year – wherever it takes you.

Keep on truckin’!

Ju & Jay x
