My First ‘Baby’ Ultra

Aged 46, I ran my first 'baby' ultramarathon yesterday, 33 miles (53km) running ten 3.3 mile loops over 5 hours and 47 mins in a quiet forest in Northamptonshire, the Big Bear Christmas Challenge.

This is it folks, after six month's of training, we're at our campsite base ready for the Zermatt Half Marathon tomorrow morning.

The Col de I'Iseran is the highest paved mountain pass in the Alps, topping out at 2,764 metres. Even though it was closed for snow, Jay still ran it.
