He’s trundled about following\u00a0the coast, winding around the fjords, and while we haven’t gone far on our\u00a0map, it’s taken a couple of hours to get here. After a stop for lunch on the top of a pass, we’ve found a patch of land next to a couple of small beaches near Nordreisa (N69.81151, E21.12914<\/a>).\n\n

Amazing view as we ate<\/p><\/div>\n\nI drove us here today, we’re taking it in turns driving now. After parking up for the night, Jay got a fire going on the beach and has thoroughly tested his telescopic Finnish sausage cooking stick. Charlie has been going nuts for all the smells of the sea and the sheep wandering past. I am gazing out watching little white motorhomes make their way around the fjord edge, while keeping my eyes peeled for more large creatures splashing around in the water – not whale sized, but some sort of porpoise.\n\n

Looks like we won’t see any more reindeer if the curse of the moose sign is anything to go by.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\"Norway\n\n

Charlie wasn’t allowed on beaches in Finland, he’s making up for it now<\/p><\/div>\n\nThe weather has been a mix of cloud and sun today, but we got word from Craig and Joanne last night that they had reached Nordkapp and the midnight sun was shining. I can’t wait to see their photos. We’re all loving Norway.\n\n
