Thermal Black Out Lining."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>OK, more specifically it&#8217;s curtain linings for me for the next few trips.<\/p>\n<p>When we were gearing Dave up for our last trip I spent a <a href=\"http:\/\/ourtour.co.uk\/home\/why-did-i-sell-the-sewing-machine\/\">whole day<\/a> sewing linings to all his curtains, begrudging the fact that I had recently sold my sewing machine! Sure he had blackout roller blinds on the habitation windows, but as they were old they&#8217;d often get stuck, so we opted to use the curtains instead.<\/p>\n<p>Zagan&#8217;s curtains are a darker material, but they still let in a lot of light, and when we slept in a car parks we were often under a light seemingly brighter than the sun! He also has a different design of blind, concertina things which do block out all the light, but after a few goes with them we were quickly back to shutting the curtains.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_18050\" style=\"width: 630px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ourtourmedia.s3.eu-central-003.backblazeb2.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/DSC03363-1024x768.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-18050\" class=\"size-large wp-image-18050\" src=\"https:\/\/ourtourmedia.s3.eu-central-003.backblazeb2.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/DSC03363-1024x768-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Can you guess which one I have lined?\" width=\"620\" height=\"465\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ourtourmedia.s3.eu-central-003.backblazeb2.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/DSC03363-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/ourtourmedia.s3.eu-central-003.backblazeb2.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/DSC03363-1024x768-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ourtourmedia.s3.eu-central-003.backblazeb2.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/DSC03363-1024x768-174x131.jpg 174w, https:\/\/ourtourmedia.s3.eu-central-003.backblazeb2.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/DSC03363-1024x768-70x53.jpg 70w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 620px) 100vw, 620px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-18050\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Can you guess which one I have lined?<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A quick measure up gave\u00a0the width I needed and that I could do them all with just six metres of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/gp\/product\/B00752HCEI\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1634&amp;creative=19450&amp;creativeASIN=B00752HCEI&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=dailyposts-21\">white blackout and thermal curtain lining fabric<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of trying to do it all in one day, this time I am tackling a different set of curtains on each trip. The curtains on both side windows and those separating the cab from the habitation area will be lined, which will not only stop light coming in, they will keep us snug in colder weather.
