We set that site up in January 2014 as we embarked on our journey to financial freedom. The Money Muppet site no loner exists, so we&#8217;ve incorporated our financial journey into our travel blog.<\/em><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<div><a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.urbandictionary.com\/define.php?term=Muppet&amp;defid=9960\" data-original-title=\"\"><cite title=\"Muppet\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-33015\" src=\"https:\/\/ourtourmedia.s3.eu-central-003.backblazeb2.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/money-muppet-square.jpg\" alt=\"money muppet logo\" width=\"300\" height=\"249\" \/>Muppet<\/cite><\/a><\/div>\n<div><cite title=\"Muppet\">A person who is ignorant and generally has no idea about anything.<\/cite><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Slotting together the above Urban Dictionary&#8217;s definition of &#8216;muppet&#8217;, and the title of this blog, you&#8217;d be correct in assuming the author is not a fountain of knowledge when it comes to money, finances, investments, vouchers, tokens, in fact and form of stuff using to buy more stuff. It&#8217;s a black art to me; voodoo, a whole mountain of impossible acronyms and scary possibilities to lose every single last penny I&#8217;ve ever scraped together. This blog&#8217;s here to track a journey: from this poor position of daftness to a dream future in which I stand atop the financial world, where everything <a href=\"http:\/\/www.moneysavingexpert.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Martin Lewis says<\/a> makes perfect sense, where I&#8217;m no millionaire, but I am rich and free.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m assuming by the very fact you&#8217;re reading this means you&#8217;ve some interest in cash, spondooolies wonga, and how to get more of it, maybe even enough to achieve the uber-dream goal of financial independence. Some of the stuff I write might help ease you along this road, and your comments and feedback in return will help me, educate me and encourage me.<\/p>\n<p>What I&#8217;m trying to say is: Please don&#8217;t take anything on <em>moneymuppet<\/em> to be financial advice. Do your own research, this is serious stuff, your life depends on it.
