You don’t need to imagine it, you can read exactly what it’s like in OurTour Downloaded. This motorhome book is a compilation of our first year of blog posts from when we hit the road back in October 2011.
With nerves jangling and a tingle of excitement we left our home, our friends and our families to explore Europe for a year. We had no plans other than to get to Calais and turn right. So that’s what we did.

As we set off for our year-long adventure of a lifetime we wrote our blog every day with updates of where we’d been (GPS Co-ordinates included) what we’d seen and how we were feeling. As the year progressed, so did our writing – you’ll be pleased to hear! After returning to the UK people got in touch and asked if the blog was available to read offline, which seemed like a really good idea – so here it is.
OurTour Downloaded is all of our blog posts from our first year on the road, touring around Europe, and with a month touring Morocco.
If you didn’t get chance to join us at the very beginning when we forgot to wind down the skylight and lost it on the M25, or you missed our new country nerves going into Spain, or if you just fancy something to read while you plan your own adventure, the you can find it all in this book. The same copy is also on our blog starting from here, but having re-read the almost a quarter of a million words, the book hopefully has slightly fewer typos and most of it should make sense!
